Gabriella's photos were taken on her Olympus Pen FT which allows her to take half frame photos. The half frame photos have been scanned as 35mm frames which gives Gabriella these great diptychs. 

 

"I'm Afro-Colombian and have been working on a film and photo project called "Sana Que Sana" which explores my familial and cultural history. As a part of the ongoing movement for black lives, diving into the history of anti-blackness and enslavement in Latin America has helped me contextualize my role in the issue as a Latina in the US. These images are part of an upcoming book and short film."
