“Chemical Evidence” brings together a group of contemporary photographers exploring the material, emotional, and experimental possibilities of image-making. From traditional darkroom techniques to boundary-pushing processes, the work in this exhibition examines what remains—what lingers—after light, chemistry, and time have done their work.
Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, March 28 from 6–9PM at Bushwick Community Darkroom. Meet the artists, experience the work in person, and step into a space shaped by process, imperfection, and transformation.
The exhibition will be on view March 25 through April 22, with a closing reception in April (details to be announced).
After its run in Brooklyn, “Chemical Evidence” will travel to Superfine! NYC, giving the work a second life in a new context and inviting a broader audience into the conversation.
Whether you're deep in the darkroom or just beginning to explore analog photography, this show offers a glimpse into the alchemy that makes photography feel alive.
