Wider Aperture is a new community by and for the diverse photographers of New York City, specifically photographers of color, LGBTQ+, female and non-binary, and disabled photographers. We're kicking things off with a curated mixer of diverse NYC photographers. It'll be full of individual conversation and connection as well as a town hall style discussion of the state of diversity in photography in NYC today. Afterwards, we'll trade prints and hang...and potentially head to a bar or do a photowalk if folks are up for it.
