Lorraine Rilling Levchenko
My work is focused on spiritually moving experiences relating to nature and life cycles. It reflects living presently, and is inspired by my own encounters with inner work. I create idealized representations of nature to characterize the feeling of “taking it all in” when standing in reverence of your surroundings. My artistic influences are the ancient and sacred methods of spiritual connection, combined with that of the present. My current interests are in the divine connections we hold in each other. The images I create are meant to depict the consistency at which nature and time move. I use lines, either found or drawn, to explore movement within structures for subjects that do not require such conformity.
