This body of work continues my exploration of notions of identity in a philosophical sense. Who are we? Who can we become? How do we want to present ourselves to the outside world? I have recruited professional New York City actors to come to my studio in order to collaborate on this body of work. The project also explores ideas about world building and fabricated realities. Who better to gain insight into these themes than actors – professional world builders if nothing else? These actors perform for the camera as a profession. What will they bring to our photo sessions? Which version of themselves?
